21 October 2026 | 7 min read
By Emmanuel Abou Chabke, creator of Mira & Yetix
Quick answer: you can download Mira & Yetix Episode 1 free in English and Arabic, then buy each next episode as a $3.49 digital comic book for kids. Episode 1 is also on Kindle now, with more episodes and a paperback coming soon.
What makes a good comic book for kids?
For young children, the best comic books are short, colourful and easy to read aloud. Big pictures carry the story, so even kids who can't read yet can follow along, and the speech bubbles make shared reading feel like a game.
Mira & Yetix was made with that in mind: a brave girl, her gentle yeti friend, and one adventure per episode, written for ages 3 and up. Each comic includes a short guide for parents and a QR code to a free movement game, so story time turns into play time.
